About us

Restoring Earth. Empowering Lives.

Our vision, mission and core values, plus the people behind Mazilinda.

Elevator pitch

Mazilinda is a Kenyan circular-economy enterprise turning the country's waste crisis into clean energy, restored land and community income.

Kenya generates 22,000 tons of waste a day, and volumes are set to triple by 2030. We answer with four connected pillars: climate technology that uses AI to optimise collection and connect waste sellers with buyers; clean energy from biogas and solar; community engagement through reward-based drop-off days and clean-ups; and environmental education that makes the 5Rs practical.

Waste, handled well, becomes public health, power and profit.

Our vision

To contribute to a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future where environmental challenges are transformed into opportunities for social and economic development.

Our mission

To develop innovative, community-driven solutions that transform waste into valuable resources, restore degraded ecosystems and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.
